Castle Learning  

Welcome to CASTLE LEARNING!


 

Dear Parents and Students,

Our school now has access to Castle Learning, a web-based service that provides on-line review of courses in

Mathematics, Science, Social Studies and Language Arts.

Students can:

  • use Castle Learning throughout the school year, with the abilitiy to access the site, 24-hours a day, 7 days a week.
  • use Castle Learning from any computer connected to the Internet – at school, home, or in the local library
  • complete assignments from their teachers or create their own review sessions

 

Here Are Some Important Castle Learning Tips

 Signing in:

1.        Click on http://www.castlelearning.com

2.       Enter your Castle Learning ID in to the Castle Learning ID field: Your ID is : oa-_ _ _ (first three letters of your first name) _ _ _ _ _ _( first six letters of your last name)  

            For example: Thomas Johnson’s School Island ID would be: oa-thojohnso

3.        Enter your Castle Learning password into the Password field. The Student Home page displays.

Your Castle Learning password is the first 5 digits of your student ID number. For example: A student ID of 00345.11 would result in a   

                                     Castle Learning password of 00345

Castle Learning Activities:

· Create Short Answer sessions with access to thousands of questions in the

course database.

· Work on assignments, which are sessions designed by the teacher.

· Browse through the extensive vocabulary for the course or work on the

vocabulary flash card activity.

· Guided essay writing, DBQ, and constructed response activities are available

in selected Castle Learning courses.

· An activity can be interrupted at any time and continued at a later time.

For best results:

· Do not use your browser's “Back” and “Forward” buttons.

· Navigate through Castle Learning using the buttons and links on each page. For example, click on the blue Back button at the top-right to return to the previous page or activity. On-line Help buttons on every Castle Learning page link to appropriate topics that explain all the program features.
