Oakfield-Alabama application for free or reduced school lunch meals/milk
Important Lunch Information This year we are seeing a modest increase in the price of the meals provided by the school district. The main reason is the increases in food costs. As you know, with fuel prices increasing and that having a direct impact on shipping costs, the burden for the extra costs is passed on to the consumer. We are all seeing this in our own households. You will see Breakfast cost has increased by $0.15. Lunch has been increased $0.25, and milk is up $0.10. The price changes are not a profit mechanism; rather we are just looking to break even at the end of the fiscal year.
The Oakfield Alabama Food Service Department has a convenient lunch management program for you and your student. MealpayPlus®, an online prepayment service that may be used for student meals, and be helpful in keeping track of your student(s) lunch/breakfast charges.
