Carrie Greene, Curriculum Coordinator
As a member of the administrative team here at Oakfield-Alabama, I work closely with the Superintendent, Building Principals, and Director of Special Education. My job consists of coordinating various activities/areas including: curriculum review, professional development, new teacher mentoring, student enrichment activities, technology, and the NYS 3 - 8 testing...just to name a few! A western New York native, I grew up right down the road in Medina. I earned my Bachelors degree in Elementary Education from St. Bonaventure University and my Masters degree in Education from SUNY Brockport. I also hold SDL (School District Leader) and SBL (School Building Leader) administrative certification after completing the leadership academy program at Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts. I began my teaching career at Berry Elementary School in Waldorf, MD. I taught third grade for three years before returning to western NY. I taught fourth grade here at OACS for six years and have served as Curriculum Coordinator for the past three years.
