Homework and Grading Guidance

Oakfield-Alabama Elementary School is committed to providing a quality learning experience for our students. This includes grading and homework policies that are clear, consistent, accurate, and meaningful while also supporting the learning. The Standards-based Reporting System allows for a growth mindset in both our teachers and students to strive towards excellence. The Homework and Grading Committee utilized research-based practices from Ken O'Connor, Robert Marzano, and Myron Dueck. The Homework and Grading Policy Handbook is available here along with the grade-level specific Homework Expectations for our students at Oakfield-Alabama Elementary School.
