On April 17th and 18th GWMEA had it's 2026 All County 2 festival. It was Hosted by Oakfield Alabama at Attica CSD. Mrs. Hudson was the Sr. High Band Chairperson, Mrs. Mileham was the Jr. High Chorus Chairperson, and Mrs. Pritchett chaired the Elementary Band. Mrs .Fluet accompanied the chorus on flute. All three groups were AMAZING. The students had a wonderful time bonding with each other and making beautiful music. We are so proud of our students and our music department as they showcased a truly fun and heartwarming weekend. Music is alive and well in our county and at OA! Go Hornets! 

Senior Michael Gould played his last All county concert, and was awarded the John Mikulski scholarship by GWMEA
