Boys Track & Field:  Bryan Lagunes

Senior Captain and Distance Runner Bryan Lagunes demonstrated his leadership and total-team effort this week. At our Genesee Region League Meet Wednesday at Attica, Bryan finished in SECOND Place in the 3200 Meter Run with a time of 12:39.04 AND ran a Season Best time of 2:22.74 in the 800 Meter Run. Bryan followed that up Saturday afternoon at the Holley Invitational by running a LIFETIME BEST in the 800 Meter Run with a time of 2:17.35.  That allowed fellow teammate Stevie Wilkosz and Bryan to come in fourth place in the Co-Ed competition.  Bryan is a selfless leader on our team and consistently leads by example.  Congratulations Bryan and keep up the hard work! 


Girls Track & Field: Tia Lindsley

Junior Middle-Distance Runner Tia Lindsley had a MONSTER week for her team. At our Wednesday Genesee Region League Meet versus Attica and Holley, Tia finished SECOND in the 400 Meter Dash with a time of 1:06.34, which was a SEASON BEST time AND Tia also was the lead off runner of the 1600 Meter Relay team that also finished in SECOND Place with a time of 4:33.94.  That relay time of 4:33.94 was also our fastest of the season so far! Tia got even faster Saturday at the Holley Invitational.  At the Holley Invitational, Tia finished FIFTH in the 400 Meter Dash with a LIFETIME BEST TIME of 1:03.97!  That blazing time gave Tia the NINTH FASTEST 400 METER DASH TIME IN SCHOOL HISTORY!  Tia is a hard working student-athlete who helps out her team with 400s, 800s, High Jump, Triple Jump, and the 1600 Meter Relay.  She helps out the team wherever needed! Congratulations Tia and keep up the great work! 


Baseball: Jackson Gilbert

In 2 games (vs Kendall and Lyndonville) Jackson went 3-6 with 2 singles and a home run.  He had 3 RBIs, scored 3 runs, and walked twice.


Softball: Raine  Denny

Raine was 7-11 in OA's 3 games last week. She had 2 doubles and 1 triple with 4 RBI's. She continues to play excellent defense at her 2nd base position.
