  • At Oakfield-Alabama Central School District, housing grades 6–8 in a dedicated wing of the building represents an important step toward establishing a true middle school model—one that supports students through the critical transition from elementary to high school. As students move through the Middle High School and into the upper grades, the focus shifts to preparing them for post-secondary education, military service, or future careers. In addition to fulfilling graduation requirements, students can explore a range of electives that align with their interests and goals, working closely with parents and counselors to plan their path forward. Beyond academics, OACS offers a variety of athletic, extracurricular, and academic programs that help students build social, vocational, and cultural skills, shaping well-rounded individuals prepared for life beyond our doors.
