DMV Learners Permit
AVAILABLE WHEN SCHOOL IS IN SESSION
* Students can take the test at 15 years old, however, they cannot apply to the DMV for a Learner's Permit until they are 16 years old.
This is a free service, students may sign up to take their exam in the High School Computer Lab. If the test has been passed, the test supervisor will provide the student with a printed receipt and all necessary paperwork to present at any DMV office to complete the process of receiving your learner's permit.
DMV permit fees apply and must be paid at time of DMV office visit.
DMV Manuals are available in the computer lab, and are given to the student when they sign up to take the exam, if they do not already have one.
If a student does not pass, s/he would be able to take the test again at no charge.
Online practice tests are available to take through the DMV's website.
